Terms of Service & Refund Policy

Terms of Service

  

1) What you’re buying

VantageClear provides access to an online study guide and exam and, upon successful completion, issues a digital certificate. Delivery is digital only (email + your account download).


2) When you agree to these terms

You agree to these Terms when you purchase, access your account, start the exam, or download any certificate. We store the time, IP address, and version of the Terms you accepted.


3) No employment guarantee / no affiliation

VantageClear is an independent credential. Passing our exam does not guarantee employment, job placement, or client acceptance, and we are not a government agency nor affiliated with your employer unless we explicitly say so in writing.


4) Accounts & identity

You must provide accurate information and keep your login secure. One account/credential is for a single person only—no sharing, reselling, or transferring.


5) Pricing, taxes, and billing descriptor

Prices are shown at checkout and may include applicable taxes. Your statement will show: GDP*VantageCle Oxford MI.


6) Delivery, access, and support

Access is available immediately after payment. If you don’t see the email, check spam or contact support@vantageclear.com. We aim to resolve access issues quickly and will resend links or assist with login resets as needed.


7) Intellectual property & license

Study materials, exams, and certificates are VantageClear IP. We grant you a personal, non-transferable license to use them solely for your own education and credentialing. No copying, scraping, reverse-engineering, republishing, or commercial use without written permission.


8) Prohibited conduct

Do not:

  • Share accounts, impersonate others, or falsify identity/credentials.
  • Attempt to bypass exam controls, copy questions, or distribute content.
  • Use bots or automation to access or take exams. Violations may result in account  suspension, credential revocation, and denial of future service. 


9) Chargebacks & credential status

Please contact us first for help or a refund under the policy below. If you file a chargeback after accessing the service, we may revoke or suspend the associated credential pending resolution, and we may provide exam logs (access times, IPs, delivery receipts) to the payment processor to resolve the dispute.


10) Service changes & downtime

We may update content, features, and delivery methods. We strive for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. If a platform error prevents access, we’ll fix it or issue a refund per the policy.


11) Privacy

We collect limited data (e.g., name, email, IP/device, exam activity) to provide and secure the service. 


12) Disclaimers & liability limits

The service is provided “as is.” To the fullest extent permitted by law, VantageClear is not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the exam giving rise to the claim.


13) Governing law & venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of Michigan. Any dispute will be brought in state or federal courts located in Michigan.


14) Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms; the effective date above shows the latest version. Your continued use after updates means you accept the new Terms.


Refund Policy

  

What’s refundable

  • 30-day window: You can request a refund within 30 days of purchase if the exam has not been started and no certificate has been issued. 
  • Duplicate charge/system error: We will refund duplicate transactions or confirmed platform errors. 


What’s not refundable

  • After exam start or after a certificate is issued, purchases are non-refundable  (digital goods). 
  • Abuse or policy violations (e.g., account sharing, cheating) void refund eligibility. 


How to request a refund

Email support@vantageclear.comor call (616) 320-4412 with:

  • Full name, email used at purchase, order number (or last 4 digits and date), and brief reason. Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method. Banks typically post credits in 5–10 business days. 


Don’t recognize the charge?

Your statement shows GDP*VantageCle Oxford MI. If you didn’t intend to buy and the exam hasn’t been started, contact us—we’ll resolve it quickly and, if eligible, refund without a dispute.
